Associate Manufacturing Engineer

A Biotech company is seeking a Associate Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Fremont, CA.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Will work on customer-returned products for testing/ repairing/ troubleshooting, and other tasks supporting RMA repair team.
  • Handling Fortinet customer-returned products.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolving soft and hardware issues.
  • Assembling/Disassembling systems for repairing purposes. Better ability to solder circuit boards and understand schematics.
  • Conduct software and hardware rework per instructions.
  • Modifying test scripts per specifications changes.
  • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and may recommend solutions to technical problems.
  • Summarizing testing reports and problems finding in writing.

Education/Experience: 

  • Strong teamwork and communication capabilities
  • Experience in testing/repairing.
  • Knowledge of scripting (Python/Robot/VB/ Perl…) and experience with Linux systems.
  • Degree or Pursuit of Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field , new graduate with AA /Bachelor’s degree also consider
  • Be able to lift 40 lbs
