Don Herd, CEO and Founder
Don Herd founded Richmar Associates, Inc. in 1977 as company that values relationships. With a background in printed circuit board design and a strong acumen for business management, he built Richmar as an Engineering Services Company. Shortly after, Richmar developed into a full-service staffing agency serving Silicon Valley. His reputation for building solid, trusting relationships with clients, employees and associates is the foundation that Richmar has been built.
Prior to starting Richmar Associates, Don was a member of the engineering management team at Memorex Corporation in Santa Clara, CA for 10 years.
Today, Don is a staffing industry professional with extensive experience and critical expertise in all facets of the business. He is responsible for establishing corporate-wide vision and defining strategic direction. In addition to his daily duties, he is active in the American Staffing Association (ASA) and supports a number of non-profit organizations.
Kim Novielli, President
As President of Richmar Associates, Inc., Kim leads Richmar with a commitment to customer satisfaction, ethics and the values that have set us apart since we opened our doors in 1977. Kim has been instrumental in developing Richmar into the leading staffing solutions provider that we are today. Kim joined Richmar in 1990 and has acquired experience in every aspect of temporary staffing, including vendor-on-premise projects, business development, recruitment strategies, employment law and best practices.
Her responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day company operations. She has successfully developed a team of recruiters, account managers, human resources and support staff whose work ethic and commitment to quality and service is unsurpassed.
Kim has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from California State University, Fullerton.
Cindy Thompson, CFO
Over the last 25 years, Cindy Thompson has helped drive the growth of Richmar Associates by working tactically and strategically on complex projects while providing excellent results to the bottom line, without losing focus on Richmar’s most important asset – our clients, employees and associates. Since her tenure at Richmar began, Cindy has developed and maintained a team that successfully manages Richmar’s Payroll, Accounting, Benefits and Safety Programs.
Cindy Thompson has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Phoenix University, Santa Clara, California.
